I am Yung-Yu Chen (click to see my linkedin profile), a graduate student in The Ohio State University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. I am doing researches in the CFD Lab.
My interests of research include:
- The Conservation Element and Solution Element (CESE) method.
- High performance computing (HPC).
- Message-passing parallel programming (not directly using MPI).
- CUDA parallelization.
- Wave propagation by computer simulation:
- Waves in solids: anisotropic, piezoelectric, or viscoelastic.
- Electromagnetic waves.
- Aerodynamics; aeroacoustics.
- Computational fluid dynamics; high-speed flow.
As part of my research activities, I am working on a software framework that helps writing better codes. You can contact me if you are interested in it.
